Friends:
I have a D-15 Series I. I'm in need of two wheel centers for 26" spin out rims. My centers were cracked when I bought the tractor. I had a professional welder weld the cracks. All I do is tractor rides, I don't know why they keep cracking unless they're "bad." Is there anyone in a couple hundred mile radius of Northeast Arkansas that has any? Thanks.

Your welder is not doing a "proper" job. These centers are hardened somewhat and the area needs to be preheated before welding. Also the rod type or shield gas needs to be used. Did your welder grind out the crack first? 
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.

Ive welded the bar that holdes the teeth on a floating cutter bar. Its tempered. After welding i heated it in a larger area to relieve stresses from welding heat being in a concentrated area. Never broke again. May help may not but its athought

one good question is WHY did they crack to start with ??

That being said, i have welded plenty of "hard" steel with 7018 stick rod.. Preheat sure dont hurt, especially if the metal is below 50 degrees F to start with... nice to set by the fire or use a torch to get the hub up to maybe 150 degrees before you start..... 7018 does not require pre heat, but you put a lot of stress on a part if  its 50 degrees and you do a lot of LOCAL WELDING in one spot on a big part.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
