In a drought here in central IL and the 1/3 acre pond now averages questimate 3 1/2 feet deep - 20 years old.
I am plagued with this floating algae. Have ODed on dye, copper sulfate an the like of trying various chemicals off amazom and the Pond Guy's recommendaation. The water remains at about 3/4 coverage with the floating stuff. Any success out there dealing effectively with this plague. I am running without an aerator since my last mega buck unit shot craps. Thanx
