Wife's cousin has a 2002 Schaeff HR14 30 for sale at a price that's kinda hard to pass up. Machine runs, no smoke, moves, digs, pushes, has a hydraulic thumb and a almost new 18" bucket. I know Schaeff was bought by Terex about that time and the owner told me the few parts he's needed he got from Yanmar. Anybody been around these? Any thoughts? Any thoughts on a Mitsubishi diesel?

Isn't Duramax a Mitsu? Don't think there's a problem with that brand.

Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

Not sure about Duramax but my father in law has been around grading equipment for 60 years and he talks highly about Mitsubishi equipment. On the other hand he really wants a mini ex to play with around here
