Need to replace tie rod ends - anyone have a interchange for the parts or a stock number
Also steering seems to wander , and as you correct it the steering wheel will eventually make a full turn just to keep going straight when roading machine . Have always thought it was in the steering control hydraulic steering sector , but know wonder if it's the actual steering hydraulic cylinder has internal leakage which causes the wander of machine . No problem at slow speed or when working machine turns fine and has power to turn wheels in sand, mud or such . Just this having to constantly correct when on road |

AC 715 Tie Rod Ends P/N's as follows:
Number Qty. Description 1007069 1 Rod End, Tie (Left Hand Thread) 1007070 1 Rod End, Tie (Right Hand Thread) Source - AC 715 Loader Backhoe Parts Catalog Form 9003463 12/75. Note this manual is an early manual so when the AC 715B came along - am wondering if there were any rolling engineering changes that would have been covered by a supplement. U.S. Manufacturers - Moog and Delphi Technology's - possibly Minn Parr HTH's ~ Orangeman

PDF file for the 714 / 715 AC Industrial - CDS parts list
Now just have to figure out how to convert numbers to industry suppliers https://www.tractorparts.com/PDFs/AC_710C_714C_715C_SN3301-7217_PARTS.PDF |

You might try surplus center, looks like they have quite a variety, from 3/4" down...

Dave - those are all rod end bearings , the ones used on this tie rod are automotive type and about 1" diameter threads . the stud is a tapered machined surface that wedges into spindle housing

If anyone finds the correct ends I would Iike a part number, and if anyone sources new kingpins and bushings I really need to rebuild my hubs.

After searching for last couple days for the parts and going through countless site I gave up and called a OLD AC DEALER - HERC U LIFT - who use to handle AC equipment but now is just FORK LIFT Dealer .
Gave them the AC part number for tie rod ends from 1974 parts book NOT IN STOCK but said 3 day delivery UPS Price 92.09 for one side 64.14 for the other - / After trying to do online interchange on sizes for the taper and coming up blank - well lot of wasted time - should have just called Herc U Lift right out . Same part fits 704 and 705 fork lift steering |

Talking to Herc U Lift parts guy he said MINNPAR was sold to a Belgium company and trying to get anything from them is a hard struggle as they seem to be into high priced inventory rather than parts needed for repair .
They have a office here in MN but seems several phone numbers are unworking , out of service or ??? HERC U LIFT phone number is 1 800 362 3500 Herc-U-Lift has one of the largest equipment inventories on hand in the Upper Midwest, stocking new and used forklifts, aerial work platforms, telehandlers, ... |
