Well my brother and I took his JD A and my wd45 pulling yesterday afternoon. My brother did ok  in the 4500 and 5000 classes (a 3rd and a 4th) and i decided to run the ole' 45 in the 5500 and 6000! When it came time for me to pull in the 5500 i noticed all the tractors were farmall M with 15.5 38s, considering all 2 3rds aren't bad! I'll try and post a video of my 5500 run

Those 38" tires will hold the traction better. That makes for a severe disadvanage for you. We were on a track Saturday afternoon where 28" tires couldnt move the sled, just sit and spin, then a 77 Oliver pulled it like 8' and spun out with tall farm tires I assume 38", then we pulled 211.564' with 16.9x34, but they were full cuts and were not slipping. We all choked the tractor, something that hasnt been happening.

Grippy track I do good with my 16.9x28's
Hard track, forget it, the 38's take the cake.

But I am still learning so maybe one day I will get it setup correctly :)

I know some guys won't show up depending on the track conditions.
