Flying!!!!  I dont think I would ever drive that far!!!! I work from home and usually never leave the house except for wing night at local bar!! In fact the pass side caliper locked up on my economy car from sitting this winter and is at the garage now.

Well Im back and saw some stuff!  Please tell me becuase I dont know where I was at but the land is divided into squares and then there is a CIRCLE drawn inside that?!?!
And I think I went over the Grand Caynon and then there was just a big hole in the ground with nothing around it, there sure is ALOT of land out there!!! Mostly dry looking. I went from Chicago to Orange County CA

The squares with the circle in them was pivot irrigation, easy one.
 
I'd guess that the big hole on the ground was a strip mine. Some of them are as impressive as the Grand Canyon.

That big ole hole in the ground in Arizona is where a meteor smacked the ground many years ago.........
