I have one of the older ones that had problems with the axle that the lower arms rotated on.  I see in the new ones have changed that part to a stronger weldment.  Problem was in the outer bracing set up, would break off the outside the arms braces...Wink

Yes, and I had to "move" one of the holes, to make it bolt to the DB...Wink

with all the ordering i do each day keeping parts  here and ones i sell  as soon as it  says  call for avaiblity  or low stock it means  you aint going to to get it this year or its substituded with some thing like it .  but really do not mind welding up my own like in the one picture only with sway blocks instead of the sway arms  but its allways nice to start with some pictures or measurements so that a guy doesnt have to spend so much time figuring out all the geomentry so that thing s operate good .    lets see some pictures  if any one has  time for some

worksaver no longer makes 3 point hitch kits... You go to their site and all gone.. but if you sneak in the back door you can find the "obsolete manual" for the WD45 and others.

.

I found someone selling the two lower arms and the upper link from a Ford tractor for a reasonable price.

Using ~3/4in+ bolts, nylon lock nuts, and washers I mounted the tractor end of the lower arms to the extra holes for the regular WD tongue hitch bar height adjustment bracket (basically the largest bolts the fit through the existing bracket holes. Regular Class 1 pins are a little larger). I drilled holes in the two lower bars to fit a couple of Kubota three point turn buckles from Tractor supply (although a pair of steel straps with extra holes for height adjustment and pins would work too and save cash). The factory lower arm center holes for the turn buckles was too far forward and the geometry did not work out, hence the extra drilling, get/use a titanium bit).

This setup won't work for plowing (no draft/weight transfer bonus) but I can "lift stuff up and put stuff down".
