Yes I have plenty of cats but usually I keep the shed locked up tight and they are kinda lazy sometimes due to wife and kids keeping them well fed. Though we haven’t had a mouse in the house in probably over a decade. They gotta run the gauntlet to get to the house.😼

As Reindeer says I likewise need to fix wallowed out holes and bushings on seats on 170, 185, And the 17III. This fall I actually stripped primed and painted my 4 main tractors all front and rear wheels and rims. But tomorrow is to Key West and next day San Juan and back. Merry Christmas to all! Good luck with y'alls projects and be safe!

My project is to work on my 1961 D-10 S-II this winter to replace some seals that will hopefully stop some of the leaks.  Going after the rear and front crank seals, clutch was a bit jumpy.  Upon splitting the tractor, I didn't know you could put that much grease in the bell housing.  Purchased the tractor this past summer and started tackling all the different items that need attention after 56 years.

Nothing was rusty.  Must have been 3 pounds of grease.

I've got an Allis WD out back that needs to come in and have the new engine installed but first have to replace the seal that keeps the hydraulic fluid from leaking into the bellhousing.  Just have to find time and space to get it in shop.

Currently doing customer's '23 Fiat 703.  The headless engine has been froze at some time in the past and the outer water jacket has many cracks.  Ive taken the  cylinder block off and it's at the repair shop for extensive welding.  I've re-fitted the crank bearings to proper clearance and straightened #3 rod.  Just have to make some gaskets and wait for the block to be done.  More customer jobs waiting.
I would like to find time to get some work done on my '58 Morgan +4, but customer work pays the bills!!LOL

drop everything and get the Morgan roadworthy!
just tell creditors a guy on your tractor forum said it was okay.
I'm sure they'll understand...

3 Ford 8N's I loan to neighbors, but the '52CA, '41B and little B1 I do not.

drobCA.  You need to get that Aston on the road!!  Parts can't be anymore expensive than Morgan parts ( about double RR prices!!)

I've got a collection of vintage Brit sports cars to drive when the weather's decent anyway.

hey Phil -
my reply is too long and too non-tractor-related for here, so I sent you an email.
keep that British iron rolling!  (even if it does require virtually daily tweaking... Wink)

Well, I wanted to overhaul another 45 engine this winter. But when I tore it apart the crank is bad, (front main already .040 under and is in need of grind). The rest of the journals were a Hodge-podge.  I have a D-17 crank that is .010-.010 ready to go but no block to put it in.

Today I got my snap-couple 2 row planter in the shop to get it ready to plant sweet corn next spring. I'll be happy if I get my sweet corn planted with this thing.

I've been working on this building. I fixed the leaky roof back in August ( more like rebuilt it ). I'm currently in the process of putting in double doors. This is a good building with a concrete floor, lights, and insulated. I plan to put in a wood stove and use it to work on the tractors and try to get them ready for the GOTO in April.

New clutches have been installed in dads 6060 thanks to my brothers. I had to work friday. Have not had internet service for 11 days at home. Centurylink gets in no hurry to resolve their problems. Our whole community has had no phone or internet. Real bummer at Christmas. Came on early this morning.
New tool boxes that I got for Christmas will go on the XT tomorrow. One on each side of the frame rails.

Got some brackets for stadium lights and will be putting LED's in place of the originals for the 7045. I really need to get after the 170 engine overhaul. It's been sitting far too long. Then gonna tackle the new headliner in the Torino and get that on the road again.
