Charlie Tucker, I think I remember being involved with the aquisition of that 1940 JD A! Was that the one my neighbor had? And his brother in law thought we were trying to swipe. Ah, the good old days! LOL! My first owned tractor was a 1949 Case SC. Bought it for $100 in 1972. I used the belt pulley on it to run a old flat belt hammermill, grinding feed for feeder pigs. It was a good old tractor.

Yep, Doug, that was the one. I remember him taking the front and you and I on the back of the loader to lift it off. Then you told me later "sure glad he didn't have ANOTHER heart attack" It was 80 degrees that spring day, warmest day of the year till that point.
