What is the correct part number for wd45 226 in gas engine gasket set. I want the complete engine gasket set. Was looking at the Agco numbers. They list different sets before & after number 289000. Is that the engine number? Mine is a 1954 model & the engine # is 45-34415-G. I think the only important part is the middle part 34415 so that 289000 doesn't seem to make sense. My tractor serial is 175421.
Thanks, Ed.

Beginning with WD Engine #289001 (sometime in '51) the WD was equipped with the 4" "tall" head which continued on with the WD-45s.
Unlike the Tractor numbers which continued from the WD thru the WD-45,
the Engine numbers started anew with the WD-45s.
However........I would interpret the parts manual to mean all WDs after Eng #289000 and all WD-45s would use the newer gasket set.
I have an aftermarket gasket set and I believe there are enough gaskets in the set to
meet the requirements of both early and late model engines.

Thanks a bunch Brian. That makes it all make sense now. I didn't realize that number break was for the WD engine.
