I'll have to take a look at the tire sizes and get back with them, I should know by now what they are but I don't.
The only thing I didn't take apart on this one was I didn't seperate the finals from the axle housings. The final drive seals weren't leaking, and the upper bearings in the finals were still good and not rusted up. Since this is going to be a parade queen they should go for a long long time yet.

Got a chance to look at the tire sizes, the fronts are 6.00-16, and the rears 13.6-28

Great rebuild Mike! I just finished my wd-45 last year. I almost tore down mine as much as yours except I didn't tear down the torque tube and transmission. I also didn't grind and replace everything in my motor like you did. It will be a parade queen for sure!!
Do you worry at all about letting the primer sit unpainted too long and getting the fresh paint to adhere properly? I tried to prime/paint the same or next day because my Martin Seynour specs said to not let the primer sit for more than about 7 days. I'm just curious in case I ever get ambitous enough to try another project that big.

Bill, this one belongs to a customer that hired me to do the work, I don't know if he"ll haul it to Butterfield, but he's thinking about Hutchinson if I can get it done in time.
As far as the primer goes, my epoxy primer says to topcoat within 3 days. The tractor underneath the cover in the pictures is a 53 wd, and I used the same primer and paint on it back in 2004. I've never had a problem with paint adhering despite the fact that sometimes it's more like 3 months instead of 3 days. I've got 4 tractors so far I've done this way, and they all still look great.
I've got a few other things I do while painting that the paint reps. would sneer at, but the techniques have been working out here in the "real world" very well.
By the way, in the pictures the light makes the orange look alot darker than it is, rest assured that it is the correct P.O #1.
