Wondering what the current fair value is for 3 different AC Plows; all 3 point, all shed kept. A 3-16, a 4 bottom , and 5 bottom hydraulic reset.
I did not get a pic of the 5 bottom. There was too much stuff thrown on top of it, But it looked in good shape, probably from the 1970's. I did get pics of everything else, the smaller plows look to date from the late 60's, early 70's. It might be possible to purchase at least one pair of them... Except the 5 bottoms, the owner alluded that if he were ever to part with those, they would have to come with the 190 as a package deal..... 190xt is a series 3. nice straight sheet metal, one of the nicest originals I've personally seen. Was told it is not a gear jumper; 5000 original hrs. What do you guys think?: He has weights for the tractor too: |

Hi Jay.
Fair would be a price that you and he can both agree on above scrap price that you both would feel good about. If you're asking for price opinions to start them out with, here's mine with everything being relative to usable condition and not insult the seller with an unintentional lowball offer, I hope. Plows: $50-$100+/bottom minimum depending upon how much I was wanting a plow for use or add to my collection. I'd top out at: $250- $300 on the 3 bottom $425 - $500 on the 4 bottom $625-$700 on the 5 bottom The 190XT 3, any engine work? Power director intact? Have the seller tell you about his baby. Is the seller proud of it for the work it performed and hates to sell it? What work did it perform a majority of the time? How did it perform under heavy loads, if any? Any maintenance/repair work coming up? His reason for sale? Just not used and needed as much anymore and/or, retiring? Or, is this "just another tractor" sitting around and letting it go to someone who wants and can use it more than them? Presuming no engine and PD work, normal oil usage and regular maintenance, normal wear and tear from usage, I'd start at $5000 and work from there. Again, everything is subject to change depending upon more information forthcoming when conversing with the seller. HTH. Sidenote: I grew up running an XT3 with an AC hydraulic reset 5 bottom. Very nice for going through rock patches as we didn't bring hardly any to the surface. You'd love that setup!
