I did not realize that we missed the throttle clip until I uploaded the photo to the site. At that point, one has to admit ones mistakes, as otherwise Shameless would be forced to point our the error of our ways....

Well I picked up a coil at Napa, installed it and the tractor fired up and ran very well immediately. Funny how simple it all seems in retrospect. Just not when figuring it out. Thanks everyone that helped me with thoughts and comments. And I just realized looking at this picture that we did not get the throttle guide under the coil mount bolt. Tomorrow.
