Looks like Brandaon Wolke has a D 17 Wheatland propane on there. Hers some questions.
1. Was that the one on ebay over a month ago > Does not look like it.
2. Was this the other one that someone was talking about on here ?
Like the know ther serial number is on this one.
Just some thoughts.
Thanks Darryl

There is no way that tractor is worth $30,000. I still think there was something fishy with the Ebay D17 wheatland LP bringing $18,000. It looked like it needed $10,000 worth of work.

Its the same one as seen on ebay. I did some picture comparisons. He spruced it up and got it running and added 12000 to what he paid for it.

he must have added power steering too as the e-bay ad states manual steering, unless he had it wrong, because he says the steering was locked up.

I think they're different tractors. Unless the oil bath filter on it was dirty and it got cleaned up because it looks black in the ebay picture and it is now orange in the YT picture. |

I am convinced its the same one. Rust line on the seat is one indicator. New front tires. oddball rear wheelweight. Rear tires are same tread. the ebay pictures were taken in the evening so there are lots of shadows.

18.4 x 26 were standard rears for the Wheatland. 16.9 x 26 were standard for D-17 grove tractors. 28" rears for standard tractors, and 38" rears for High Clearance.

According to Norm swinfords book he lists 18.4 x 28 as the rear tire on Wheatland d17's. So I am not sure which it is.

I was getting my information from the 1960 dealer price book. I'll have to double check the orchard, but the other info is from the price book.
