Just order a carb kit for an Allis B, C, CA, IB, and it will be the correct one. They only make 1 kit for those models. LOL Bob

You must have a replacement carb, not the original.
I had that problem with a D15 that I bought. I went all through the carb kit catalog at NAPA and couldn't find the kit. I bought the correct carb and everything is fine now.
Steiners have a kit for some of the replacement carbs, www.steinertractor.com, part # ABC1346. It fit several models. Bob

Contact Tony at Tony's Tractors (www.tonystractors.com). He located a kit for one of my B's that had an oddball carb on it.

An "S" 1585 is a "service" carburetor meaning its a replacement for one of the OEM carbs that was on it originally. Unfortunately, my book doesn't show that particular number, but I know for a replacement carburetor, you do need to order the correct rebuild kit for it....

Hello,

If anyone has a 1949 B Zenith carb laying in pieces I need 2 dimensions taken off the main nozzle tube, if you would kindly take a second to measure it.

Dimensions I need:
1:  I need the over all length of the tube.
2:  The distance from the top of the nozzle to the top of the fitting.

Any other dimension I need I can get from whats left of the one I have.

I didn't want to start a new B carb question thread.

Thanks in advance,
Marc
