Perhaps someone is interested in this rake before I cut it up for scrap. Located 30 miles south of Mason City, Iowa. Make an offer. dennis.marsh@mchsi.com

I am over west of Mason 50 miles. If you hook up the PTO, will it run? We mow the grass in our ditch an sometimes it gets a little to long and bunchy. It could warm up the little tractors, and give them a job.

I guess it could be made to function with some work but it has not been in operation for about 50 years. I am not a farmer but do remember the rake being used when I was a kid. I think the gearbox has two speeds plus a tedding position. It may be a model 7 but not sure about that.

Would you happen to have any other photos that might show if the PTO shield matches a #3 mower's shield?  And if it does match, would you consider selling and shipping the shield?

Is that a 2 piece PTO shield, or has it been folded in half?

Looks like its been bent in half ?

If you scrap it, that ball hitch is a valued piece.
