The pictures in the plow bottom book are arranged looking up into the bottom or turned so its laying on the landside, most of the variation details are in the interior of the frog. The frog and brace variations are documented, the shape of the shins not so well and the shape of the moldboards not at all. You can look at the plow bottoms book we are using for reference at http://www.grandpastractor.com/phpBB3/index.php.
Finding a number on frog, moldboard, or share is the best identification. Gerald J. |
