    Posted: 30 Apr 2023 at 10:40am
i am trying to to get to chain drive gear in rear tiller . i am having trouble removing bearings to get case apart. i have removed flange . from looking at online parts blowup there seems to be a washer called a shield that needs to come off before bearing. there is a ridge on shaft on top of bearing . im wondering if this is it and it is just stuck. when i took the case apart th chain was off. i put it back on reassembled and tried to use it. it would slip going foward. when i looked at drive gear the teeth were slanted . i assume they should be straight and it is wore out. any help would be appreciated as i wanted to try it on garden this year . thanks
