Went and picked it up tonight. I have it close to its permanent spot. I need a power feed belt and to figure out the power feed then I can back it in a little more.

Looks good! I was looking into flat belts for the power feed on my universal grinder and was mostly coming up with Megadyne stuff unless I want to risk some no name Amazon type brand. The main drive belt for the spindle on mine is a Megadyne T150, I think, in whatever length.

I need to look in to that. My lathe is flat belt and a drill press along with this mill. This mill belt is really nice but much too narrow. It works but I don’t think it would handle a deep cut without slipping.

An automotive serpentine belt will frequently do the job well. Shortening the serp to fit can be a little bit of a challenge, but cut it at an angle, and glue it with a backing on the non-running side, and it'll work... or put an additional idler in there to tie up more slack.

Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

I bought a belt the right length.. No cutting.. Shortest belts are about 44 inches, but you normally need quite a bit longer than that.... Widest is about 1-3/8 ... the grooves grab well on the flat pulley..
