A few questions on paint colors. Y'all know more than I do. This all stems from me researching to do some paint work on a few tractors.. I'm working on my Deutz Allis, need to do some touch up on my 8050, and my 200.
Correct me if I'm wrong, did the 7000 and 8000 series all use corporate orange? When did wheels change from cream to white? Were cab tops ever cream? I know my 7010 is definitely white.. Also, did the 185's ever change from persian orange #2 to corporate orange late in the model? I figured that the 7000 series was painted corporate orange by 1981, but didn't know if the 185, still manufactured as of that late, ever changed. I guess what I'm really asking is this - was corporate orange phased in on certain models or was there a drop-dead date when PO2 was cut and corporate became the AC standard. When Deutz-Allis came along, they used spring green and gunmetal blue, IIRC; was the silver on the wheels a special color? When they went back with orange for the big tractors, did they use corporate orange or was it a new variant? Finally, when Agco came along, was a new orange used? Thanks.

In late 1977, the black chassis 7000 series came out. They were corporate orange and cloud white on the wheels and cab roof. This would include 7000-7010-7020-7045-7060-7080-7580-8550. Also, any 175's and 185's in that same time frame were also changed in color.

Deutz Allis tractors used Pearl Gray for the wheels. Late deutz and all agco allis/ agco used corporate orange up until 2011

Dr. Allis, 175’s and 185’s produced 1977-1981 still retained cream for the wheels, correct? Or did they go to cloud white, also?
