I see they are selling aluminum radiators on eBay. Has anybody bought one? Wonder how well they'd work? Says they have better cooling abilities. Think it'd be better to just stay with an original style? Thanks.

I thought when the time comes and I need one, I was going to look into adapting a universal aluminum one myself.
they want real money for what's available....which I have no problem spending IF I could get a guarantee it was made in the USA, but I have a real problem spending 600+/- for a Chinese radiator. that said, I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. do you have a link to the radiator you're looking at? |

Looks to be the same money as the OEM style one. I've never had a cooling issue with my D17, but I don't work it hard all that often. AaronSEIA

If an original radiator isn't doing the job, there's something REALLY wrong...

I just find it BS that they hose tractor/equp guys like that when you can buy a 3 core radiator 2 feet tall and 4 feet wide for 130 bux
I think the only thing that may be an issue is fatigue/cracks in the mounts. beyond that, it would be the shiniest thing on my tractor
