Took the camera out today-got really fortunate! I haven't gotten an owl picture for years! At Lake Manawa State Park, near Council Bluffs Iowa. |

Neat picture Greg. My great grandson loves owls, I have to show him when he wakes up.
I had 2 owls setting on my windmill years ago, one on the fan and one on the tail. What a picture ! but it was too dark to print. |

Great picture. We seldom see an owl around here any more. Back when I was growing up we used to hear screech owls in the trees beside the house at night. The last owl I have seen up close was one I clobbered with the pickup one night. He took out the left headlight assembly. Pretty expensive sighting.

You're right, you don't get to see them that often and not that big either! Nice pic! |

I agree Ted seems your guilty till you prove yourself innocent, unless your a criminal, then its seems they have to prove beyond any possible doubt they are guilty.

It is kind of a stacked deck considering who the judge most likely plays golf with.

This thread reminds me of an old riddle:
What's the difference 'tween a bad marksman, and a constipated owl??? The marksman shoots and shoots, but never hits...
