Question, this is the 4 wheel version, 2 of the wheels are 14" and the other 2 are 15".
They are all the same style rims and I see in the parts book that it shows 14" or 15" Did they install 14" and 15" for a reason? do they go in any certain order? We had to replace the tires, and noticed at that time that they are different

I've had 3 2300 and they were the same. I can't think of even a silly reason they would need to be different. How wide is it?

Uh....22'! 14' in transport mode.
:) I was thinking that the smaller ones would be on one side to make the disc crab a bit so that it tracks better going down the road? Alleviates swaying? or the 15" are the inner set, and the 14" are the outer set?

My first guess is the kid that assembled at the dealer had no or poor supervison. Justed used what he saw first.Because of that I have a grain drill with the openers on the short pull bars being a different style than the long ones. All double disc opener but different castings.
Of coarse it could of been some with a flat and just slapped what ever was handy on too.

Unsure how they shipped in the 60’s, by rail or by truck? My guess is they came in with no wheels/tires and were lifted off by a loader possibly. Had to be assembled somewhat due to the hitch being too wide to transport. Several different types of equipment on the load with different size tires. As said, someone wasn’t paying attention and possibly put the wrong sizes on. Especially since the wheels all match.
