I can't say for certain, but I'm going to say no. That would be a lot of head for D17 hp. I have an E but have yet to use it. The seller told me that in todays corn it almost can't go slow enough before powering out.

I just finished "playing" with an E in my 12 acres of corn and a 2 row head, seemed like there was plenty of power. I can understand a 4 row head may be to heavy for the E
Thanks for your responses

I think one time I seen a brochure that advertised heads for an E, the offerings were: 2 row 38", 3 row 30" and 4 row 20".  I could very well be wrong, but it seems that was what I seen.  Dad had an E with the 2 row 38" head, then when he went to 30" rows he adapted a 3 row 30" K (I think but could have been an A head) head to fit.  He could go slow enough and had enough power to run it, but in easy shelling corn with better yields (above 150 bushel) he had to be careful not to go too fast and back the clean grain elevator up and push corn into the cleaning fan breaking the paddles.
