Ok, can someone please tell me what a round bale could weigh and size of them ?
Also how many square bales equal a round bale?
 
I know, probably differnet size round bales but any info is good !!!
Need mulch for the garedn and I can get round bales for $25 each.

There are many different sizes of both round and square bales.

Around "here" most square bales are around 50-70lbs and round's are 700-1000lbs.

Hi Jay , its your fellow AC guy from around the concession from you . I like to figure in a 4x5 bale you are probably looking at approx 15 -17 little squares 45-50 lbs, I have actual clean wheat straw bales( no weeds) that have sat out for several years ,so they should be quite easy to spread around for your purpose , wheat straw would be slightly lighter, I could bring them over to you if you are interested , I will track you down on sunday and talk to you then- Scott
