No need for wheels when the traction booster is working. Mine works great.

I am looking for spare teeth for the above cultivator. Does anyone know of the part numbers for them or where I might find some?

Got mine for $100 7 or 8 years ago. A real bargain considering what people are quoting now. Wow. Things have gone crazy price wise!

I have been kinda watching for one too. I found one, but I think it mist be gold plated. Lol. What should one in decent shape run? The one I found does have the guage wheels.
I really have no idea on value, just thought that guy was pretty high. |

yeah, gauge wheels would be a nice feature to have. mine just goes in as far as it goes and so far the '45 has pulled it. it is a nice implement to have for working up the garden and sweet corn patch.

From the manuals I have seen on ebay. I think it is a WD / WD45 field cultivator.

Yes that looks the same as mine but I have steel gauge wheels on the front of mine. Your pictures are a lot better than mine. (My shed is waiting for a good spring cleaning.) Thanks for the help.

That looks exactly like the one I have, I have guage wheeles on mine and have converted it to a 3 point attachment. I was told it was a quack digger, sorry if this was incorrect. They do a good job on cleaning up roots and brush.

Can't tell from your picture very well, but is it like this one? I'm not aware of the model number. Norm's book refers to them as spring tooth field cultivators.

That looks to be the WD Field cultivator. Those spring teeth are the same as used on a "Row Crop" cultivator. That won't do all that much in sod ground, but works nicely in tilled ground. What's referred to as a Quack digger, AC named a "Coil Spring Field Cultivator" and was built somewhat heavier. On that the coil spring shanks were about 1 inch square.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

I believe what you have is a QUACK DIGGER, used to rip open grass fields. I have one I use to cultivate 40 inch food plot rows.

I'm having trouble getting the pictures through. I resized them in Windows Paint the first time and then pasted them the first time and they didn't come through. I followed the instructions for photo bucket and when I pasted them they just came through as computer language. I will keep trying.
