Guess I'ma gonna have to call ole Shameless and get some of his Tannerite sent down here,,,,I cannot get thet dang cylinder head off the block for chit,,,,,, I KNOW I got all the head bolts out but just cannot break it loose,,,, any help somebody,,??

Well I just might, Thad,,,It shore is a pretty thing,,! Now if it was a short wide 4X4 ,,,,I'd fight somebody for it,,,,especially with thet wicked lookin BBC, The engine has the factory Chrome valve covers with the decal "The Heartbeat OF America" ,,
I am SOOoooo pizzed at Apple as my Iphone 8 Plus just does not want to transfer pics to my PC, The phone takes some really beautiful pics,,,just don't want to transfer em. Closest Apple Repair store is a 4 hour trip up in the Duke City and I don't really want to send it to them and be without a phone for prolly two weeks,,,,,,,,chit, chit,,,

Chit,,I couldn't find the thread I started on the 1982 Silverado,,,so,, I'll continue here. To bring ya'll up to speed,,the 305 in thet trk is wasted,,,flat camshaft ,,,,8 of the lifters are dished pretty bad and the cam bearings were fixin to wipe out. Funny the rod bearings look great as welll as the mains.
I went to look at a small 4 wheeler in The MarketPlace for my Grandson and when we drug it outa the barn,,,,,,,, LO And Behold there lays a Big Block Chevy engine,just lookin for a home,,,,, I ask the farmer what the story is on the engine and he tells me he was pullin a trailer full of cows back from El Paso and a radiator hose blew and he had to get where he could put water in radiator but engine had a miss all the way home,,so he ordered a new engine and swapped it out and it been on the barn floor since.
I ask him if it for sale and he goes to thinkin,,,,and,,,thinkin and after bout 10 minutes,,,he tells me since you bought the 4 wheeler for your Grandson,,I think you are a pretty good Guy so I'll let you have the engine PLUS the turbo 400 still bolted up to the BBC ,,,,,for $300 plus $25 for the 4 wheeler. CHIT,,I just about RIPPED my pants pocket gettin my wallet out to pay him before he changes his mind,,,,!!! I get it home and get my pressure blaster and clean it up good. I pulled spark plugs and all are clean except #8 and the compression on it is 40# where all others are 140-155# I'm thinkin head gasket,,,?? That 454 is fixin to make the Curtain Climber I sell it to,,,, one heck of a staus symbol
