Used the CA to plough up some previously unused land. After figuring out how it attached, that two bottom did great. Love the sound of that engine snorting when she'd load up or hit a root. Even got the misses on to try.

I would like to make a few comments as contructive critisism. And no I can't spell heheheh. Rear tire spacing is way too wide even if those are 2-14s I do believe. Should be narrowed all the way if 2-12s. Never seen plowing down with cultivators on and the cylinder extension is dragging the ground. Those are real nice looking set so hate to see them get damaged. I would tidy things up a bit and drop off those fronts.

Hey, I'm all for helpful advice. I originally tried ploughing this a week ago. About a 30x50 plot. Got the cultivators mounted afterwards. I then decided I needed to make another pass and get deeper. Seeing that I need weight and because the cultivators were in pieces when I got them and a PITA to put together, I opted not to remove.
g This is my first time doing this so thanks for input all is welcome.
The cylinder you refer to is, I believe, a piece of conduit that was part of the mower setup, but I could be wrong.

The tube that is referred to attaches to the RH ram which is swung forward to provide lift.  You can delay the rear lift by an adjustment on the pump so you can plow out the wheel tracks.  Nice to get those implements with the tractor.  Sometimes they are hard to find.
The CA is a GREAT PLOWING TRACTOR.  Very powerful for it's size.  Pulls the snap coupler plows easily.

It should only take a couple minutes and very little effort to remove the front cultivator. Unbolt from the side frame(2 vertical bolts each side) and swing the whole section out . Do both sides and back away after removing the wedge pins in the front.
  Looks like you got something extra wrapped around the main frame. That might stop it from swinging away as it should.

They will swing, I just have that one pinned up with thread rod till I get more lift chain. I'll have to look into how that lift ram works as that would help a lot.

Here is a picture that might help some. The right side hydraulic cylinder is slid off the mounting pin and swung forward, mounting it on a forward pin. Then the extension is attached to run the front gangs.

thanks. gives me an idea how mine should be rigged... once i get the "blades" for it. right now i only have the "folding" frame.
52 CA, 41 B and a little B1    oh, yeah... and an 8N ford snuck in there, too.
