I let the D17 out to play and give the WD45's some more time resting in the barn.
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

Don,

Nice pictures.  I never realized a D17 could go that wide!  After the post about the tip-over and recent death, I am thinking about setting the wheels on my D17 out a notch. 

Nice looking tractor.

The rears need to be set that wide to clear the shanks.
Rick I have lots more ground for you to work up. I hoping to get the four row planter up and going this year too, We can make it last two days if we don't work at it to hard. lol

This D17 is a nice old tractor all the gauges work and runs nice It's going to be for sale after planting is done this year. She was a true barn find it has sit in a old barn for over 20 years that I have know about.

Don - I take it you got that wide front pivot pin fixed on that D17 already!  First that SC field cultivator then my 4 row SC planter...you sure like shopping for toys at my place!  Mike

No Mike I have not replaced the pin and bushing in the front end yet, but it is coming in the shop next then your old planter will go through refit. looks like I will have all the parts to make the planter work like new again.
