Thought some of you guys might like to see this.

I took those back in 2008. It sits 2 miles from my house. It's right beside the road. The owner won't sell it nor sell parts off of it. It looked like it ran when parked. Nothing looks broken, but the rear axle is removed (but still has the steering linkage hooked up) and all the wheels except the left drive wheel are removed. The combine is on blocks. I talked to the grandson of the previous owner of the land and he said the combine belonged to a guy who rented the land and farmed it. He said that combine has sat there since the 1970s, and he's not sure why. The farmer just left it there and never came back for it. The new owner of the land has no ties to the combine and he's an IH guy, so I don't know why he doesn't want people to look at it or why he doesn't want to sell it. He mentioned he likes to look at it though so maybe that's why. Kind of a sad reason.

If you want it keep asking. Also make them a offer on it sometimes cash speaks louder than words. Invite them over to look at your other combines. , So they can see it would go to a good home.

That would be super fun! I'd love to have a fleet of 100's. Both regular and Super.

I'm hoping one day I can host a show at our farm like Hutch, with lots of wheat cutting/baling/plowing with old machines. Maybe not all Allis, because that's a tall order in IH/JD country!

That's an idea...just got to find an IH junker. I don't think I've seen a junk IH combine in Oklahoma though. All Allis/Gleaner and Deere.

A buddy's idea was we get a bunch of refrigerator boxes, stack them up, then paint a mural of the 100 on them. Then one night sneak over to the combine, pull the engine, stick in a running WD45 engine he has in it, and drive it to a hiding place. Then stack the boxes up where the combine was so it still looks like it's there! LOL

I bid on one on Bidspotter a couple of months back. It brought $7000.00ish.

I guess he is riding the wave and hoping to get that out of his!

Do you have a photo of it?

Most expensive one I ever saw brought $8K. It was at a collector combine auction and had been totally restored.

The 100 replaced the T for a reason ya know! Lol

But...the 100 broke a belt too!

Also, FYI, all those wagering bets for next year's show, I am collecting the money.

Actually the T was not replaced by the 100 Allis did not want two combines of that size competing in the same market and the 100 was already proven so when Allis bought out Gleaner they dropped both the T and the p80 pull type.

That's what I meant. Allis dropped the T, in favor of the 100.
