Anyone getting docked for purple beans, if so how much. Here the price is $7.75 if you have purple beans in your load and $8.30 if you don't.

Sorry that you are losing commodity price because of it, None here this year, but I have seen it show up in areas nearer the Illinois/Mississippi River bottoms on account of higher humidities in those low lying fields.
It's a soil borne & seed carrying fungus that reproduces by spores onto wet leaf tissues.
Here's a link that talks about it. https://cropwatch.unl.edu/plantdisease/soybean/purple-seed-stain

Around here they dock for EVERYTHING low test weight, pods/cob chunks, dust, color, etc.! IF your test weight is above the 60 pound bean/56 for corn, you will NOT get a premium for good quality!---The elevator blends your good grain with somebody's bad stuff and they make out like a bandit!--- I know this first hand! I have been on both sides and that's why I rented the farm to someone else!! LOL!!!! ----thanks; ac fleet
