I have a chance to buy a 303 baler and was wondering how good they are? Do they make good bales? how dependalbe are they? i dont know much about it other than its for sale so i cant give specifics but any input would be great.

the 303 that i have is a good baler it ties well i has the same knotter set up as a new holland it bales hay great but for corn stalks you need smaller windrows as stocks tend to bunch up going into the rake chamber no problems with mine

Bought one new in 1965,used it every year,been a good one.One weak spot is the chamber wheel spindel is too light & breaks every few years.HTH Bill
