Went to a local auction Saturday, March 6, and thought I'd list the prices of the tractors.  Early D17 - nice sheetmetal & paint with add-on 3 point - $2600; The rest of the tractors had never been stored inside & were pretty weathered, but were good mechanically.  AC 200 - $5500; AC 7045 - $5700; AC7080 - $6100; duals for 7080 - $1225.  On March 5, "Snowman" posted the auction flyer that has the photos of the tractors if you're interested.

A friend of mine went to this auction. He said that prices went high. Even chains and binders were selling over new cost. Are you located near Grant? I live towards Fremont.

Mitch,
Did you me $12,250 for the 7080?  It's also looking like W. Michigan is pretty well represented here on the forums!

Thought about going but was busy.  I'm one county east near Rodney.

We live a bit northwest of Sparta, so it wasn't too far a drive for us.  Good parking along side the road, so that was great for a March auction in Michigan!
I thought the prices for the tractors were fair price since they were mechanically sound.  The mechanic who worked on them was there to start them up and give everyone information before the bidding started for each one, so that was nice.  Paint was really weathered, but if you know that they're good mechanically that makes the difference in price.
The auctioneer (Rotier) didn't dilly dally around trying to get more money out of stuff, so if you didn't bid fast on the smaller stuff you were out of luck.  Different than an Art Smith auction.
Do you know of any farm auctions coming up soon in West Michigan?

Voelkers consignment and there is supposed to be an auction in Amble (or north of 46 near it) that has an AC lawn tractor, a 6080 and a 200 to sell.

Do you know who's doing the auction near Amble?

Someone's been telling me about the big auction for Udder Chaos Dairy near Fremont.  Anything worth looking at or is it all big JD stuff for big fields?  Thanks!
