what is the best way to repair the steering shaft bushing on the bracket  by the clutch housing thanks we also  had a great 4th of july show at are place agian this year

I would bore it out & put a brass bushing in it.

The bronze bushing  in the throttle quadrant wll work to repair this.  If  it is really worn you  might not have to drill it out. I flipped my stearing shaft end over end to get an unworn surface.  You will only have to drill one hole for the U-joint.

Dan...He's talking about the steering shaft bushing in the piece on top of the frame rail, I think. Rick
