Well I had a post yesterday (under Rons post) about the bad financial condition my future in-laws are in and said I would post a link to the auction
http://www.allischalmers.com/new/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=9093&title=my-ship-has-come-in - http://www.allischalmers.com/new/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=9093&title=my-ship-has-come-in

So here is the link and I know many won't be interested cause its off color but they really need help and a good turn out so if you have any green neighbors or friends that might be interested please let them know. For any questions let me know you can PM me or I'll give you my number I know their equipment pretty good and can answer most questions about it.

Andrew - sorry to hear about this situation. Really a sad story. Hope it all works out OK.

Here is a bump and updated link with the sale bill. I forgot to mention before that they have a 438 Gleaner head. You can click on the sale bill to zoom in and read it.

Yep they put duals on it for flotation and to help steer with the 6 roller Massey tracks on it. One thing I forgot to mention on the Gleaner head is that it has a pretty well brand new corn reel on it I'm not sure if it sells separate or not.

What's the story of the trackhoe?

The trackhoe has a Detroit and you can run it all day as hard as you can and maybe use half a quart of oil, and it takes either to start it at first but that's it. They just put new drive sprockets on it last week and we cleaned it and parked it for viewing yesterday. They have rebuilt the swing transmission and the variable speed valve body and another valve body but cant think of its name. It has a new seat and the heater works and it had all new glass but had a limb hit the cab the last day he used it and part of it is broke and the heater and lights work. The big sprockets are wore that drive the tracks an the brass bushings are wore on one side so basically the under carriage needs a little work but the rest of the machine is in great condition for its age. Its easy on fuel to I think it holds around 80 gallons and you can go 2 days and part of a 3rd on a tank. There is a ditching bucket for it to that is not in the picture. Also there are lots of trees on the ground right now that they took down with it last fall.
