I just finished building a Allis G engine ,Got it timed and running sounds good
 about 25 lbs oil pressure gen charging on high and low.
Problem  Water seeping out of center head bolt between #2 & #3 sparkplug
I used lock washers on studs and it seems to be leaking at split in washer.
Should I have used a flat washer Or do I have a HEAD problem?
{I know I have A head problem, I am talking about the Tractor}
Thanks
Morris

Is that the bolt on the water neck? I just got done with one here and mine started seeping out on the front bolt of the water neck, I was told that was the weak spot on those heads in front of the neck, mine has been repaired there and pressure checked good. I pulled the bolt up and put a dab of form-a-gasket 2 on it and snugged it back up, no leaks now. Try that first, you may have a cylinder head problem. Just my two cents...good luck

copper washers. That was what was  on mine when I disassembled it. I picked up a copper washer assortment a Harbor Freight when they were on sale. I don't remember the cost but seemed like it was only a little bit more than if I had bought a hand full one at time.
