Is all the aftermarket parts such as exhaust turbo elbows, manifolds, and water pumps
have flaws in them? I bought a turbo elbow and it sits at a 10' angle the holes was not drilled right. A center section for a 3-piece exhaust manifold would not fit either. This is probably coming from across the big water right?

Yes, from the land of "almost right". These are know in the bodyshop business as  "will fit " parts and they will fit , but not without being tweaked . In the land of almost right , you have to remember they use methods and measureing  devices that were developed and made by them, and they are at caveman quality levels sometimes. .

Talking to our main man in the Toolroom in China, we asked why things are so messed up on thease molds coming from there sometimes. He said because of high turnover rates! We said why not pay a good one more to stay, his answer was why should I do that when there are plenty more of them waiting to take his place for the same pay. So you have to start over with inexpierance again. It takes along time to become good at some of these things.

Last year I was helping install the louvers around an HVAC unit on top of a hospital.  We had to drill hundreds of holes for a 4" aluminum angle.  I was using 1 for a pattern...bad idea!  The predrilled holes were different in EACH one.  AND, if I rememeber right, the unit was custom made in the USA!
