I'm looking at an AC 170 gas available for sale near me.  The tractor was purchased new by a customer of mine from the local dealer of the day.  The tractor starts and runs fine although I haven't driven it yet.  What should I look for in this 'modern' Allis tractor?  My newest is my '40 RC.
Allan

The hand clutch should have good "snap" feel and sound when you run it through the ranges. Also make sure it doesn't jump out of gear.

Also check to make sure the PTO engages and runs and also check to make sure the rear 3 point lift arms go up and down smooth.
