          | Is it O.K. to use trans-hyd fluid in the hydraulic system of my WD-45? The hydraulics seam to be sticking so I am going to drain and try to clean out. Also do the hydraulics have their own reservoir? I understand there is just a drain plug under the pump. Thanks for any help> Mike

          | Yes, that fluid works well in the hydraulics, and yes it has its own reservoir.  There is a drain under pump and also a drain on the reservoir just in front of the PTO housing. I hope I have this written correctly.
I know many use this fluid in the hand clutch, transmission, and rear end compartment too.  Tom

          | This picture is not much good but it shows the three fluid fill holes.  The hydraulic fluid reservoir is filled in the front one, the drain for this reservoir is not shown in this picture but is on the bottom pretty much straight down from the fill hole.  The other two fill holes will both fill everything from the rear end to the PTO, although it would be pretty slow to fill it all from either one of them since the fluid would have to run through bearings etc.  Tom

          | Thanks Tom! That pretty much explains everything I need know for now. My tractor is 2hrs away so it makes repairing somewhat difficult. Mike
