I found my clunk.. or rather I found a gear tooth when I removed the finals inspection plate on the right rear.

Based on the tooth size, I'm guessing this is from the intermediate gear or the pinion for that gear.  I'll know more after I get it apart.

But I thought I'd check to see if anyone has any gears available, in advance of tearing this all apart.
Is this going to be tough to find?
Serial 8878

Thanks

Get a hold of Zimmerman, see what they have in the yard at Versailles, if theirs is done in then there is always Chartrand in Red Bud IL and other yards with these machines in them.

I forgot about Zimmermans.. I'll give them a call.

Debating with the wife, we are looking at options.
1. Locate a new gear -$
2. Have a service try to repair the old one. -$$
3. Drive dozer as it is, until it busts - not a good idea
4. Find a scrap machine - $$$
5. Buy a new dozer and dig a pond around HD11. Use as water fixture..

While that last one made me laugh, the wife said "don't give up your day job to become a comedian"..

Yes, I mean yes, I've got all the gears- some brand new old stock A-C.  I'll sell them cheap- they don't fit my 11.  Could probably arrange delivery to northeast MO- you know where.
