Looks like one could use a 50MT or 40 MT starter motor and just replace the drive to 12 tooth .
It would be a new style starter with solenoid rather than foot switch

The new Titan™125 Series starter motors are designed specifically for large bore diesel
engines up to 16 Liters.

After rebuilding my HD5 starter several times - the last time I went to the 40MT starter as field coils in original unit went bad and finding those came out to about same price as fully rebuilt late style.
Having a solenoid to advance the drive unit into flywheel rather than foot lever has worked great for me.
