Check with truck parts supplier in your area, but i have found that Detroit Diesel is sometimes cheaper on parts than aftermarket or Auto Supply stores like NAPA
On injectors I went through one of my truck parts dealers and got them for 50% of cost that DD wanted and DD did the rebuild but discounted that much to dealer.

53 series is about obsolete, they were heavily used in the 50's/60's but lost favor to the 71 series, I am not sure Detroit Diesel shops can get parts for these any longer.
