I bought a set of injector tips from him that the P/N was EX-----. They were four holes that measured .020" diameter.

Is there a story of him somewhere and was he one of the main guys that made the D 21 one of the Best pulling tractors ever? I have a small photo of him with trophies all around his D 21. I know TBRAN has a bunch of info on him. Good subject. Thanks Darryl

There never was an "official" connection of any type. AC gave Noble and his best sidekick Ed Elgin (a retired AC service rep) some dyno time. As Doc said there were a lot of tips sold in AC parts boxed with EXP in front of the pn - which didn't exist. Someone had to do that at piece packaging cause Nobel certainly didn't do it. Too neat for him or Ed :-). Later AC told all AC employees hands off pulling as a not to be named dufus threatened to sue AC for not giving him the 'good stuff' the McKinnons and Noble and others who had brains were running and winning with. A case of the whole class getting punished cause johnny pooped his pants. Also just remembered that there were some TO6 Air research turbos set up for the 301 as well. I think, but this is my guess, that Ed had a turbo shop set these up. Nobel did have made and sell a steel flywheel and dual clutch set up for 301's as we purchased one of these as well as a toothed belt drive for the 426's.
