I have ideas of rebuilding a head for a 240 inch camed m&w ap46 pistons . plan is to port match and install new slightly larger valves. Will it mater what head I use. i HAVE A WD45 ONE A EARLY D17 AND A GLEANER e ONE to pick from. The 45 head needs oversized guides to make it work and would use the short spark plug. That is the only disadvantage I know of.  What are the sugestions to do.....

I would use which ever head exposed tbe most of a sparkplug and located it closest to the exhaust valve
