Don't know what they are but there are 3 different diameters. The shoulder, the main body and the o-ring OD.

4.75" top flange 4.530" top counterbore 4.475" bottom counterbore
The barrel or the sleve below the top counterbore that is exposed to the water jacket varies with manufacturer.
When I make the overbore sleves to fit in a stock block I shoot for a 4.520" barrel to leave as much material as possiable but allow it to be installed in the block easy. They'll take 4.28" bore easy and probably 4.310 fine depending on piston position at stroke bottom. The bottom counterbore of 4.475" limets the bore size used without block work. Stock sleves have the o-ring grove there. There's a few different o-rings used depending on manufacturer, some use a thinner o-ring for more sleve material there. Most od the aftermarket 4.125 bore sleves will take a 4.185" bore without any issue.

Those little motors with 5 inch factory bore spacing have alot of potential we bore 5.063 and use a 5.065 outside bore sleeve . The head allows you to bore the head bolt holes to 5/8 without hitting water but with that large of bore the water holes have to be pluged as well in the bottom of the head cause the bore gets over into them and you need a flat surface for the fire ring . The head bolt holes being enlarged hellps with relocating the studs so there not into the sleeves as well.

Like spankanomics, but spankalanguage... Outside bore, forged cast rods..
I think we should rename eddies speed shop to eddies stroke and poke. Stroken and pokin the keyboard, it's what we do best, cause we sure dont know how to run a machine.

never hear od outside diameter and id inside diameter. some people just walk in and say hello at machine shops and its evident which ones they are cause they cant do machine work . cause they would have to remove their nose from a dictionary to do any work.

So what is outside bore sleeves? Machinists turn OD's and bore ID's but I suppose if you're backwoods enough, you could bore an OD if that's what you want to do. I have real pictures of some of my machining work. What do you have pictures of besides welding a front pulley to balance the crankshaft?

People know each other... | since you are the man in the know tell me whos motors ive done and are doing . you will also know that i sold dakin arias pistons and my personal build i used j and e . barney and ray both ross dealors as well either one can vouch for that so i dont need someone to order my parts i do well at finding useful part numbers . infact i do so well at it that most of you guys pen the part numbers i post down and repost them as your own after trying to comvience others they dont work. believe me if getting a set of pistons to cut cost for a guy from a fellow dealor is a issue . i will just order from the factory as i have in the past cause its nothing to me cost gets past on. price in cost being a dealor of all three instead of reducing cost purchasing soley from one . you guys should be thinking me for posting old build part numbers for it takes hours online and measuring researching to find manufactures and then the manufacturer or warehouse with the best deal. Then machining to fit when installing or opertaing clearances once it arrives like sleeve stock and valve guide stock .

$650 for a $500 set of pistons with the wrong size wrist pin with half down. Why if you're selling so many would you want half down? Keep them in stock.

Barney figures out your valvetrain and camsshaft. You have to have Ray order your parts. There's a thread where you're thanking everyone you hired to do the work and bought parts from. Then you're 50 and 100 feet behind the competition and your stuff blows up or the comprtitive engines you've bought can't keep up in the close to stock classes after you've worked your magic.
I've got 2 questions based on the past observations
Can you do anything yourself?
When and where could you be seen pulling one of these engines you claim to be building?

Barney figures out your valvetrain and camsshaft. You have to have Ray order your parts. There's a thread where you're thanking everyone you hired to do the work and bought parts from. Then you're 50 and 100 feet behind the competition and your stuff blows up or the comprtitive engines you've bought can't keep up in the close to stock classes after you've worked your magic.
I've got 2 questions based on the past observations

| yes I know not to be concerned with you cause you cant understand even what others show and do. I dont ever say I am the first at what others like barny ronnie shipman tarbill etc have done .I simply improve it . Like 11/32 stem to 5/16 stem 4.75 bores to 4.820

I guess we will never know how bad it leaks or cracks, WI..he'll never admit reality. All his ramblings the past few years prove that. I talked to a guy the other day from down that way who knows of Pank. He said that Pank is the kind of guy who believes theory over reality, even if its in your hand in front of him. So much for teachable. Of course, he DID admit to living in a fantasy world and something about being ruled by compression..What was that quote again Mitch? Why dont you enlighten us..Cause we believe you DO live in a fantasy land.... Wheres that engine you were so busy building 2 months ago? Still havent seen it Wheres that big crank you "had" built? Not some fuzzy crappy photo that isnt clear..Wi posts clear pics...are you admitting hes smarter or better than you (We all know the answer to that) Wheres your rods you eluded to already having...(still havent seen them) Wheres that motor for two brothers in Michigan you told Unstylish about? Havent seen it Wheres all your orders for Ross, cause you were a dealer..oh yeah, thats right.. Wheres this "WE" you speak about when you make a desperate plea for attention when you try to get peoples work? You got a mouse on your pocket, or is it MGBurchard? Trick question, the guys at the machine shop you hire work out to and claim as your "OWN" dont count.. Why do you still have all this stuff alying around that you claimed to have sold? Its just funny that you have the audacity to badmouth a guy who has been/is actively and successfully doing what you are failing miserably at. Whoever said Jealous Mitch, saw through you too. Why do you even waste time getting on here? You get beat down/busted out so badly, its just not that much fun anymore..

Those you mention build winners. You think your stellar results are an improvement? I thought the longest pull in a class was the winner.

I havent ordered a set of pistons from ray . A client has to my specifications. You pick two to three pulls that I placed in the top four in as a bad thing not knowing or posting any other pulls . Your friend finished fourth and you recommend him. he also purchased a aluminum head and turbos from others not making them from scratch or buying the company out. If the block cracks I will post it I have never denied the forum any of my short commings . I share all . The ones who never fail seat in the stands have no mechanical abilities no shop no tractors just a computer to talk smack about someone who isnt their favorite pick for a puller. Ps When a build comes to me to build .Its my name on the build and creditablity if five hired machinist build it or myshelf. Just like the big shops like Rehr Morrison etc. more than one person at race shops do work on the motor but the shop owners name is the one everything is riding on.
