What is the AVERAGE price range to build a pulling tractor to pull in the "hot farm" class. I was just curious. Thanks

building a pulling tractor is like buying an airplane, whee do you want to go and how fast do you want to get there.i have 4 wd-45 diesels and i pull 2 of them when ever i can.usually  in the 5000-6000 # class.have won several trophys with them.i pull in the farm stock class.the only time i get really nervous is when there is a coop e-3 or cockshutt to compete aginst.they are hard to beat.hang in there chillnger and enjoy it.as for the money and the modifications the sky is the limit.....

Some one here might be able to help you but I think I would ask this in the pulling forum about half way down the index page. The only help I can offer is to say you can probably spend whatever you want to and the deeper your pockets, the farther you go, to a point

What "hot farm" class are you refering to?

Hot farm here can be say a 5500 pound class, sometimes an RPM rule, but must have stock appearing engine.  Say a MM UB or Farmall M with a large displacement engine for something like Div 4 NATPA.  Say $5000 and up in an enigne.

Hot farm in the 10,000-12,000 may be a $40,000 engine
