was wondering about semi-grease for track rollers. is this a #1 grease that comes in a tube or #00 or 000 that comes in a tub. i have 2 berco carrier rollers that i am rechecking for lube as they are very good but have been sitting awhile. the grease in them looked like #1. any specific brand or type? can i use just 30w or 90w gear oil? also, where can i buy the grease installation you put in the rollers after taking out the plug. long and thin. i cannot find mine and have searched alemite and others with no luck. thanks

000 might work fine / it calls for 90W the HD5 uses timken bearings in rollers and many of later machines use bushings.

John Deere Corn Head Lube is what I use in my Cat D2's. It is green NLG 0 grease that stays put but liquefies when used. It is easy to find and comes in tubes. If you have the button head fitting, NAPA sells an adapter that goes on a regular grease gun.
