Here are some pictures of a V-12 that I've been negotiating for four years. Thats me in front of the rad.  Thought I had a deal once be seller changed his mind. Where did you get the production numbers?
I have a brochure on the V-12 (7208) and a preliminary spec on the V-8 and V-12.
Talked a a guy who saw the V-8 being tested in the HD-41 but they would grenade after about 1000 hrs. Sam T said there was a proto type V-8 in Georgia but I didn't know the V-8 went into production. Either one would be a great score!! ------------- Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed |

| i do have some service papers from harvey,they give some serial #'s on the v8's,i am guessing on the total of 20,i have up to #13.on the v12's the parts book gives serial #'s on different orders,i think i have seen #43.maybe somebody has more info on these engines? |

It's not on the AC engine of the V 12 but on the design itself , but a good read of the basic V 12 design and use . | I had the pleasure to overhaul a few of these beauties at the AC plant back in 76-77. Some 550kw gen sets had failed under warentee while having the guts run out of them by the staggaring Penn Central railroad. I personally can testify to at least two of the engines shortcommings. As for power, there was'nt a dyno in the whole harvey plant that could hold a ungovernd V12 . As I recall the break in & power curve was done with the gen set tied into 2 load banks. |

| The picture doesn't give the impression of the great size of this engine until you compare it to the alternator! And what about those sewer pipe-size inlet ducts.. ..What kind of hospital could need a generator of this size, unless they're trying to recreate the Frankenstein experiments? |
