How do they compete at stock level? What competition are they against. Best weight classes for C? Does anybody pull this class in West Ohio area? My daughter and I would like to pull our C, we have it restored and it still has the original 10-24 tires that are of course very hard and road worn. Thanks for any advise, JM

Look up WesVA as he pulls a C and CA

2500 to 3000 lb classes.
Does good vs IH A/B's
3000 lb you will be against CA's and IH C's which are tough.

put front weights on it as it will dance pretty quick

10-4 on the front weights.  My '43 has the heavy cast rear hubs that were intended for steel wheels, and this makes it too heavy to add front weight in the 2500 lb class. This makes the front end come up at about 65 feet at any reasonable drawbar height.  Note to self:  Find light hubs so I can compete with Charlie175 and WesVA...

a guy here pulls one.
I think he pulls in the 2500 and 3000 class.
He's pulling against B's, deere M's, and an oliver in the mix.
not sure if his is exactly "stock", since the governor winds things up a bit.
Good luck.

We pull a couple of Cs and a B and won trophies with all three tractors last Saturday! If you are pulling a sled that's friendly to smaller tractors you won't find a better puller at 2500-3000 pounds. Kip

No I haven't been up that way to pull, really haven't ventured an hour radius from home yet. Hard to find info about pulls in the area.
Yes I do about every pull locally that I can, you been down to Luray?
