don't know much about it but today I spotted a road grader in the scrap yard. older allis with what looks to be a wd motor in it. didn't know if any of you guys would want any info. if so I could get some pictures,and get the scrap man to hold off. let me know

You've got the right idea, problem is the distance for me. You're likely to raise some local interest if you post a picture or two. By looking at the visits on this forum it's always the picture ones that get the most attention (even the old and the ugly machinesThumbs Up)

Eric is correct that a couple of pictures would draw some interest. There is always a market for parts for these graders as, except for the engine, the only source of parts are salvaged parts. For example I have been trying to find the angle (worm) drive for the power circle and have had no luck in finding a salvage machine that was equipped with a power circle. It is not that large of a component so shipping would not be a major issue. Eric, I see that you are also from BC. Do you have a D grader?

Hi Don:
No I don't have a model D grader but now that I know you're searching for that part I'll keep you in mind when I come across one and send you an email. I have had a number of A-C industrial machines over the years so I tend to pay attention when discovering what's around. (I'm in the lower mainland)
